DR ADEPITI AKINFOLARIN

I  graduated with the MBChB degree from the

Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1995 and took appointment with the Ondo State government after the compulsory one year national youth service. I returned for residency training in 2006 and obtained the Fellowships of the West African College of Surgeons and the National Postgraduate College of Nigeria in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2010. I returned to work with the Ondo State Government in 2010 where I was till my appointment as Lecturer 1 in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Perinatology in the Faculty of Clinical sciences, College of Health Sciences, OAU; Ile-Ife in 2016.

While in the residency programme, I obtained a Diploma certificate in Cancer Prevention from the National Institute of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland, USA in 2008. I also attended the Shashikant Lele international fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY in 2018.
