It is my pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the   Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Perinatology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University . It is  one of the foremost departments in the College of Health Sciences. The cardinal  mission of this department is to ensure compliance and maintaining  standards and excellence in medical education in the country with emphasis on   maternal care and women sexual and reproductive health. We have a set of well educated , disciplined and sub-specialised academic staff and very supportive   non-academic staff. The department is on course and up to date with teaching , training , research and community service through collaboration with local and international  donor agencies and ministry of health
